In other news, this ring is gooowgeusssssss! I would totally accept this as a wedding ring… I don’t care that it is a cocktail ring. 
The highlight of our morning was when Josh made a terrarium out of an old 2 liter bottle. We weren’t planning on getting out of the house because the weather is terrible and no one feels good except me. Well, in the name of rechargeable triple A batteries and cold drugs, we decided to anyway. It turned out pretty nice… I don’t know why, it might be the rain and that going to the grocery store that isn’t Wal-Mart is a treat… they have a real organic section and I took the opportunity to get some black panda licorice YUM! Also, Josh and I had some smoked teriyaki salmon which was delicious and probably WAY too much salt, but we decided to not care.

I have heard from a friend that a backwards J is “shi” in Japanese, which means “warrior.”
Jonas will often write his name with a backwards J, but never fear!!! All he has to do is make the shorter part longer than the long part, and it is fixed… I was really surprised the first time he did this. I wonder if he learned this trick from one of his teachers???
Well, I wish. hah. They are SO pretty.
I finally found a use for all the extra paper that I get from the school.
Jonas insisted on a “bow” because he was wearing a dress shirt. Haha. SO, I made him one!
The cake turned out terrible, but it was edible.
Josh and I went with Jonas to the St. Louis City Museum.

Ashlee sent us a package with stuff from S. America in it. Trinity got a pink scarf that she used for a head wrap - and looked very glamorous. She also got a little flowered apron with yellow edging that she turned sideways and tied around her arms like it was a bolero. Jonas got an adorable little fuzzy alpaca hat and alpaca socks with little alpaca’s on them. I was explaining to him about alpaca wool and we had just watch a show called “Franny’s Feet” this morning about shearing sheep to make clothes and he was totally into it.

This is proof that when people live outside of their means, they don’t know how to cope when money is scarce. What a sad thing. It sounds like their family is heartbroken, as they should be. I hope that anyone who is going through financial changes right now can inspire themselves and each other to adjust in a more logical way. I mean, you can still have happiness if you don’t have money.
Madoff is a jerk. I keep thinking of the movie Shark Tale when the Will Smith’s fish character is in front of the press and the crazy transient fish announces “I’M HIS FINANCIAL ADVISOR!” … (yes, that crazy) I think there was puppet involved too. It was funny, but the shtuff that people like Madoff pulls is not. :/
